"You can't get pregnant during the 'safe period.'"
Myth → There's no 100% safe time. Pregnancy can happen anytime during the cycle.
"Condoms always work."
Myth → Condoms are very effective, but only if used correctly every single time.
"I don't have symptoms, so I must be fine."
Myth → Many STIs show no symptoms.
Fact: Regular STI checks are the only way to know.
"Consent is just about saying yes."
Myth → True consent means feeling safe, respected, and comfortable at all times.
"HPV only affects women."
Myth → HPV can affect anyone. Condoms help, but don't fully protect against it. Vaccination is the best protection.
"Only people with lots of partners get STIs."
Myth → Anyone who's sexually active can get an STI—even in their first relationship.
